My mom’s friend adopted this lovely dog after he was abandoned by his previous family. His name is Shaun. Shaun had always been very good at eating all his food. Every last bit that was, he ate it. One day he started leaving a little bit behind. He wouldn’t eat everything, no matter what. He always left a little behind. Every morning when my mom’s friend checked Shaun’s bowl, the food was gone. That was very strange, because Shaun always spent the night by her side.
One night she decided to investigate the food situation. She waited quietly by the food bowl and then, in the middle of the night, a cat came through the window and ate the remaining food. She noticed the cat was actually pregnant. A week or so later the cat came into her house and gave birth to 6 little kittens. Shaun took care of them as if they were his own babies. My mom’s friend adopted the cat too (her name is Meow) and they took care of the kittens until they all found a loving home. Nowadays Meow and Shaun live happily together as a family and they each have their little bowl of food.(via ameriqueen)

Rain
I really hate rain sometimes. Especially when I have to wear something called an “unna boot.” Kinda like a cast. So of course it’s so stormy out that there’s water all over UW-LaCrosse (ever hear of storm drains?) Not supposed to get my leg wet (the right one, not the middle one). Makes for a frustrating morning. It is unusually warm though. Until the weekend of course. And I think my best friend is upset with me. Got kinda jealous because she met Heather Locklear yesterday. One of those things on my bucket list that likely won’t happen, who knows. I need a vacation I think….

Sprint service is awful…
When you see the ads about unlimited all the time….don’t believe it. Sprint has to have use of a tower and the coverage area is pretty lousy. And if there is a tower available the service glitches up all the time for no reason. Price isn’t bad, but paying for something that doesn’t work as advertised is nonsense. Tired of being yanked around.

NFL…My take
Am I the only one who is tiring of the product the NFL puts out? Phantom pass interference calls, flags on clean hits, stolen games. Controversy in every game you watch. When a controversial call takes place in baseball, like last Friday night, it is a big deal because it so rarely happens in all the games they play. The NFL starts looking like the WWE more and more. At least baseball is still going on and the Bucks hopefully will have a good season. Other than the Packers I really feel no desire to deal with pro football now, over time others will start drifting away too, just wait.

Hopefully I’ve found a place where I can say all the good things I want, vent when I want, or just be shocking once in awhile. Not going to promote this page on Facebook. Why? Because Facebook is filled with people who like to play with purple cows and buy barns. Old before their time. I say and do adult things, I can be very R-rated sometimes. How it is when you say what’s on your mind. I love my friends, and forgive my enemies (not the easiest thing though). Anyway, I plan to write my meanderings here from time to time, if anyone is interested that would be great.
